2012 Political Talking Points
By James Reesor
Today is 13 July 2011. We Americans are being brainwashed by the government-dominated media. The voices we are hearing in the “daily news” is so lopsided in favor of anti-God infidels that any hope for meaningful change is nonexistent for regular Christian citizens. If rational patriots like Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann or Donald Trump can’t be taken seriously by brain-dead media idiots, why care about the 2012 election?
Here is a fictional, slightly satirical conversation loaded with reverse psychology, symbolism and common sense:
Idiot: The Republicans don’t stand a chance against President Obama. They are the reason for all the problems in America. Tea Party candidates are flakes and can’t be trusted to make wise choices even if they are elected.
Genius: What has President Obama done to make you admire him so much? Is spending our nation into oblivion your idea of fiscal responsibility? The problems in America are a result of uninformed, immoral, and self-serving citizens who voted for scoundrels instead of honest, dedicated candidates. If you are too biased, intolerant or misinformed to understand what the Tea Party activists want politicians to do after they are elected, maybe you need some advice from Sarah Palin?
Idiot: That woman and all women like her are a disgrace to the human race. She is ugly, stupid, a liar, unpopular, and a misfit just like Michele Bachmann. Sarah Palin is too dumb to know the difference between Democrats and Republicans. She has no class and would make a better stripper than President of the United States of America.
Genius: Listening to your rhetoric has convinced me that you liberals, progressives – or whatever words you use to describe yourselves – indicates a lack of awareness. Sarah and Michele are wonderful examples of clear-headed, polite, ambitious and knowledgeable women who consistently demonstrate common sense. They are intelligent, trustworthy, creative and possess innovative skills that could be used to undo the damage Obama has done to America if they were given that opportunity.
Idiot: All those two women want is money and power. They are nothing but attention seekers using sex appeal to attract far right conservatives. Christian radicals go to Palin and Bachmann rallies because they are too stupid to understand how Democrats make government work. We need Obamacare, more taxes on the rich, unionized labor, a big cut in national defense, a stimulus for Wall Street bankers, compassion for radical Muslims, and hostility against Israel to avoid war in the Middle East. Not one Republican has a chance of winning in 2012 because they cater to Bible-thumping, Pro-life Jesus freaks.
Genius: Keep talking and keep reminding everyone what you believe is the best way to govern our nation. No wonder a few folks in my neck of the woods think you are incompetent and unable to function intelligently as public servants. If you keep doing what you’ve been doing for decades – fighting against the desires of true patriots – 2012 might be the end for Democrats. People are sick and tired of both political parties because it seems that the powerful elite in DC are blind, deaf and dumb when it comes to showing concern for constituents. Instead of insulting political opponents with denigrating remarks, maybe you should try civility. None of the Obama agenda that you are so proud to defend is sensible or affordable. There is a limit to what taxpayers will tolerate.
Idiot: President Obama did more in two years than George Bush did in eight. We are reducing nuclear missile stockpiles, cutting back on Pentagon spending, preventing oil drilling, removing troops from Middle East war zones, and enforcing regulations to make sure coal mines abide by environmental standards. We are keeping borders open by preventing citizens from intimidating foreigners who are risking their lives to escape oppression. We are helping many unemployed workers by creating shovel-ready jobs in blue states. All Obama needs is four more years to transform America in a way that eliminates wealthy capitalists and weird Christians.
Genius: Unfortunately for everyday Americans, there are too many Democrats who agree with you. You may not realize it, but you and your friends are in the minority. The only reason Obama won the election was because most Republicans and Independents lacked confidence in John McCain. It was really Sarah Palin that a majority of those voters tried to position a heartbeat away from the presidency. Regrettably, the Obama victory was a “statement” by a majority of disgruntled citizens who wanted to show contempt for “business as usual” in the DC sausage factory. He was elected because people really wanted meaningful change – starting with symbolically taking a strong position against racial bias. Now that President Obama and his cohorts in Congress have had ample opportunity to show their version of “change” – as you have so eloquently described by making declarative statements – I believe “Conservatives for Change” would result in better ideas being implemented.
Idiot: Listening to you talk like one of those big-business fat cats makes me want to vomit. All you Republicans want to do is cut taxes, reduce the size of government, build up the military and fight wars. When Bush bailed us out with stimulus funds in 2008, you climbed on board with both feet. When Obama wants to extend the debt limit to keep the economy from falling apart in 2011, you drag your feet every step of the way by pretending you want to cut spending. If Wall Street has a meltdown, voters will blame Tea Party Republicans instead of Obama. The last laugh will be on you when voters go to the polls.
Genius: Your opinions seem to be laced with more fantasy than facts. Democrats – (or should we say “Demoncrats” in honor of Ann Coulter) – have a propensity for exaggeration and outright deception. During the years of the George Bush presidency, you so-called “public servants” on the left side of the aisle resisted every move made to keep America running smoothly. We can put the housing and banking crisis squarely on your shoulders. The extreme elements in your political party continually send out propaganda to gullible people that is riddled with falsified information. The hate being expressed for George Bush after the Al Gore loss, the New York towers attack, and during the ongoing war against terrorism was outrageous and has done irreparable harm to our nation. Millions of people have been demoralized and devastated by your incessant anger against anyone who cares about the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, the Bible or Christianity. Your irrational disrespect for Republican ideals has more to do with treason than reason; it appears to me that contempt for the laws of God far exceeds anything that might be regarded as “politically correct.”
Idiot: George Bush was a religious nut who talked about Jesus just like other Republicans who want to get elected so they can run the country like a church. Those faith-based ideas and non-profits are a threat to separation of church and state laws. Our government needs to take all mention of God out of America to protect people. Religion should be kept private. We need to stop all that talk about how Jesus is against abortion, premarital sex, gay marriage or false gods. Every citizen should have freedom to do whatever keeps them happy. We don’t need Christians telling us how to live our lives.
Genius: It amazes me that any person of sound mind could have so little respect for the historical foundation of our nation. When considering the great achievements attributed to America, why not reinforce philosophical principles that made us a success rather than destroy the fabric of our Constitution? It seems that you are advocating a political position that will protect atheists, agnostics and practitioners of manmade religions from the ways of One true God. The original intent of our founding fathers had more to do with protecting religious people from government than trying to protect government from religious people. We all have the right to pursue happiness, freely express our thoughts, defend ourselves from tyrannical leaders, serve the God of our choice, and enjoy many other rights as citizens. Maybe a few bad apples have spoiled the barrel and are willing to let the stench of decadence dominate the cesspools they created?
Idiot: I didn’t understand one word you said. None of your silly ideas are worth a dime of my time. We need to give more power to the United Nations. We need to recognize globalization as a more reliable governing system than isolated states. Americans will be merged with all other people within a New World Order. We will share excessive resources with undeveloped nations for the sake of preserving peace. President Obama and all of us who support his ideas are determined to resist any attempt to remove him from office – even if he is forced to declare Martial Law.
Genius: Well, there might be chaos on the streets before the 2010 election if what you say is true. You and your kind will be contending with millions of crazy patriots in every city of our nation before we lay down and give up our freedoms. Let it be known that our love of God, family and traditional American values far outweighs delusional plans that a few idiots might have for the future of this planet.
Idiot: You talk like a loser who doesn’t know his ass from a hole in the ground. If any of you troublemakers get in our way before election day, don’t expect a cop to come if one is called. We will be taking control of every part of your pitiful life, and there ain’t nothing you can do to stop us.
Genius: I guess you think using threats and brute force is how to rule the world. If you know anything about idiots from the past, dominance of the innocent was usually short lived. People generally feel more comfortable with liberty than slavery.
Idiot: Most people are stupid and need someone to take care of them. A strong one-world government will be the only way we can keep control of the masses if the economy fails. President Obama will make sure that Americans are taken care of – even if he has to use the military to enforce laws.
Genius: If Obama is elected in 2012, will he be protecting families from homelessness when mortgage payments can’t be paid... or will that be done by someone else? Will Obama decide to reform the government by cutting spending... or will it take Joe the plumber to do that? Will Obama strip away regulations that impede business growth... or will Donald Trump come to the rescue? Will Obama spend more time on campaign tours than lowering high taxes that lead to job losses... or will Ron Paul solve those problems? Will Obama convince China to send extra food for starving people... or will American farmers grow more than expected? Will Obama encourage more oil drilling to keep cheap gas in vehicles... or will the expertise of Sarah Palin keep us energy efficient? Will Obama be able to win debates against someone like Michele Backmann during the campaign... or will he ask the demented media to promote a meek, liberal Republican in order to avoid serious competition? Will Obama convince all liberals to start new businesses so net profit can be used to support the government – instead of letting them keep their own money as a reward for success... or will he keep trying to get his fingers in the pockets of rich entrepreneurs?
Idiot: What? What are you talking about?
Genius: Well, let me make it simple to understand. All of those plans you have for your Obama man, forget it. None of it will happen like you, Bill or Hillary Clinton anticipate. You need to pay more attention to Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Donald Trump, Nikki Haley, Herman Cain and Ron Paul. Maybe you will learn something if you do? Have you ever heard Mike Huckabee, Glenn Beck or David Barton talk about the great men of history – known as the founding fathers of America? Have you ever taken time to evaluate books written by Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin or Laura Ingraham? Maybe you will be able to learn something that changes your opinions about politics if you do? Also, I suggest watching John Hagee, Joyce Meyer, James Merritt and Zentezen Franklin on TV if you ever get curious about Christian ideas.
By the way, my friend, JIGROP is a one-word message just for idiots who think they are smarter than God. You will learn more than you ever thought possible if you start reading the Bible with an open mind. You will learn so much about Truth, Love, the Beauty of holiness, faith and prophecy that it will literally blow your ever-loving mind!
Be Sure To Vote Smart for A Change... even if you are stupid enough to think voting is a waste of time. Crazy Patriots will be doing in 2012 what the Tea Party failed to do in 2010.
